環境建築デザイン学科「設計基礎演習」の授業で彦根のKINTO本社の見学会を実施しました！

環境建築デザイン学科の「設計基礎演習」（1年生）の授業の一環で、彦根を拠点として国際的に事業を展開するテーブルウェアブランド、KINTO社の本社オフィスの見学会を行いました。

見学会では、KINTO社代表の小出竜介氏より、同建築物の建設に込めた思いやコンセプト、実際の運用にあたっての様子など、大学の授業ではあまり接することのない建築主としての立場から、大変貴重なレクチャーをして頂きました。

また、同建築物の構造設計を担当した永井拓生講師より、本建築物の構造設計および施工について解説を行いました。

その後、学生達はオフィスの内外を自由に見学・体感する機会を与えられ、様々な技術やデザインの工夫を実建築物を通して学ぶ貴重な機会になりました。本見学会は、KINTO社および関係者の多大なご協力を得て実現しました。ここに記し心からの謝意を表します。

As part of the first-year course"Design Fundamentals"in the Department of Design and Architecture, we organized a site visit to the head office of KINTO, a tableware brand based in Hikone with an international business presence.

During the visit, Mr. Ryusuke Koide, Representative Director of KINTO, gave a valuable lecture from the client's perspective--something students rarely encounter in the classroom--sharing the intentions and concept behind the building's construction as well as insights into its daily operation.

In addition, Prof. Takuo Nagai, who was responsible for the building's structural design, provided an explanation of the structural design and construction.

Afterward, students were given time to freely explore both the interior and exteriorof the office. It became a meaningful opportunity to learn, through a real building, about various technical solutions and thoughtful design details.
