　滋賀県立大学人間文化学部では下記のとおり、国際コミュニケーション学科に所属する応用言語学・英語教育学および関連領域分野の専任教員を公募することになり、下記の分野での専門知識を備えた人で、かつ高度な英語運用力と英語教授力を持つ人を求めています。
　The School of Human Cultures (SHC) at the University of Shiga Prefecture (USP) announces a full-time position for Applied Linguistics, etc. in the Department of Intercultural Communications (DIC) and is looking for a professional who has knowledge of the fields below and proven ability in the practice of English language teaching.

4. 担当予定科目（Subjects to be taught are）

(1)English Lecture A および B（専門領域における英語による講義）、ディベート & ディスカッション、アカデミック・ライティング、アカデミック・リスニング、留学英語対策講座等を半期２～４科目程度
(1)English Lecture A and B, Debate and Discussion, Academic Writing, Academic Listening, English for Study Abroad, etc., totaling 2-4 courses per semester
(2)２年次から４年次の演習科目および卒業研究論文
(2)Undergraduate seminars for sophomores through seniors, along with advising of Graduation Theses
(3)人間探求学、環琵琶湖文化論実習等のオムニバス科目
(3)Omnibus courses such as Human Inquiry Studies and Lake Biwa Studies
(4)（院）専門領域の科目
(4)Applied Linguistics related courses for graduate students (Teaching assignments may be subject to change.)

5. 応募資格（Qualifications）

(1)英語母語話者で、学内業務を遂行するのに充分な日本語運用力を有する者
(1)be a native speaker of English with sufficient Japanese ablilty to participate in faculty meetings, etc. and deal with paperwork in Japanese.
(2)専門領域の分野で博士（もしくはPhD）の学位、あるいはこれに相当する教育研究実績を有する者
(2)hold a PhD in a field related to Applied Linguistics / TESOL, or the equivalent research experience.
(3)大学等の教育機関で教育歴を有する者（５年以上が望ましい）
(3)possess more than five years of experience in teaching English in higher education.
(4)将来、大学院で博士課程前期の論文指導ができる者
(4)have ability to supervise MA theses.
(5)学科の業務、入試業務および学生の留学支援に積極的に関与できる者
(5)have ability to fulfill departmental duties, collaborate on tasks related to entrance examinations, and support students in study abroad initiatives.
(6)滋賀県内もしくは近郊に居住できる者
(6)be willing to live in or near Shiga Prefecture.

(5)本学での教育および研究に関する抱負（それぞれ英語でA4用紙1枚程度）
(5)An essay describing your aspirations for future educational and research activity, written in English and one page (A4 size) in length
(6)学生による授業評価アンケートの結果を２点
(6)Two examples of student course evaluations results (summary sheets) for courses you have taught within the past three years (copies acceptable)

8.選考方法（Selection process）

本学部教員候補者選考委員会で審査の後、本学部教授会において審議する。審議に先立ち、面接および模擬授業を行う（旅費は自己負担）。
After initial screening by a search committee, the full faculty will make final determination. Final candidate(s) will be interviewed and asked to teach a mock lesson at the university.　Please note that we cannot pay travel expenses.
