There are four departments within the School: the Department of Ecosystem Studies, the Department of Environmental Policy and Planning, the Department of Design and Architecture, and the Department of Biological Resources Management.

Here are conducted education and research activities in engineering and related studies, with a special emphasis on creating and maintaining harmony with the natural environment. The school contains the Department of Material Science, the Department of Mechanical Systems Engineering., and the Department of Electronic Systems Engineering.

This facility is designed to provide practical training to students in manufacturing technology and production equipment, and for experiments by university researchers. The building also houses the offices of a number of professors and researchers from the School of Engineering.
