The Library and Information Network Center is a facility that combines a library that collects and makes available literature and other academic materials, and an information network center based on a computer network. The center provides a range of services to meet the demand for prompt, efficient access to a wide range of academic and research information for study and research activities. The center has been working to set up a collection of approximately 300,000 books, which is a sizable number for a newly established university. All books are placed on open shelves, and can be searched by computer according to title, author, subject, and other criteria. The center also contains computer and information facilities. In the information processing room for example, 168 computers are set up and freely available for use at all times except during scheduled classes.
